About Us

Bringing home a new family member of the four legged variety can be fun, rewarding and a real challenge. We can help your puppy or older dog become a polite and well-behaved member of your family and community.

DOGSmart Training has been using positive training methods since 1991. No choke chains, shock collars or pinch collars are used. Approximately 2000 dogs and their families take classes with us each year.

We use training methods that bring results in a manner that is fun and positive for both dog and owner.

Our facilities are clean, spacious and inviting. Learning is comfortable and fun for dogs and their owners.

Our instructors teach at our DOGSmart Training Centre and in several other locations in the lower mainland.

We have specialized classes, such as Puppy SmartStart, Clicker Fun for Puppies, Tricks and Games, Come When Called Clinics, Agility, Freestyle Fun and Train and Play.

Reactive Dog workshops are available for the special dogs who need this type of program.

Teaching your dog to respond to various hand and voice signals will make life easier for you, your guests, the veterinarian and others.
