Agility Training Programs

Pre requisite: A DOGSmart Beginner Program or an approved equivalent beginner program.

Programs are 6 weeks long, 1 hour per week. One week notice prior to start of class is required for cancellations or refunds for all DOGsmart Programs.

Please Note: There are no "make up" classes available for any Agility or Freestyle Fun Programs.

Puppy Agility

For puppies 4 - 12 months of age that have completed a DOGSmart Puppy SmartStart or DOGSmart Beginner Program.

This active program introduces puppies to basic agility prep such as small jumps, target work and tunnels.

Agility 1

For dogs 1 year of age and older that have completed a DOGSmart Beginner Program or an approved equivalent.

This is one of our more popular agility programs. Please note that priority is given to DOGSmart clients that have completed a DOGSmart beginner program, however, an approved equivalent will be accepted.

Dogsmart Training is a firm proponent of positive training methods. We only accept the use of "flat collars" and disallow any physical pushing of dogs into position. No aggressive or disruptive dogs are permitted. All dogs remain on leash when not doing the course.

This is the first level of agility handling and learning of equipment.
