TRAINING PROGRAMS

DOGSmart Training is a full-service, client-centered team of professionals dedicated to helping you achieve the results you want for you and your puppy or adult dog.
Class instruction is offered in small, group settings at our training centre and satellite locations. Private consultation may be arranged at our facility, or in the comfort of your home.
We invite you to consider DOGSmart Training when you acquire a new puppy or a new dog, or if you have concerns about the behaviour of your pet. We offer an experienced, knowledgeable, dedicated staff with a flexible, comprehensive program schedule and a tradition of client support, to provide you with non-abusive, professional dog training services you can trust.

Canine Good Neighbour Program

We are pleased to announce that DOGSmart Training is now offering the Canine Good Neighbour Program.

This program is to identify and reward responsible, caring owners and their canine partners throughout Canada.

Canine Good Neighbours can be counted on to present good manners at home, in public places and in the presence of other dogs. The test is non-competitive and allows dog and handler to demonstrate confidence and control in 12 steps.

A Canadian Kennel Club Program for Pure Breeds and Mixed Breed Dogs.

Alice Fisher, CPDT-KA, Rita Britton, CPDT-KA, and Nicole LeBlanc, CPDT-KA, of DOGSmart Training are approved evaluators for the Canine Good Neighbour Exam, a Canadian Kennel Club certification.

DOGSmart Training is very proud to have 5 CPDT trainers. There are fewer than 30 CPDT trainers in B.C.
