 K9 Nose Work®

 What Is K9 Nose Work®?

Started in California in the late 2000s by professional detection dog handlers, it is an activity for all dogs of every age, breed and ability as well as for handlers of any age or experience.  It is a fun, dog-driven sport that teams a dog and handler to search for odours. Students start by learning the foundation of the hunt. All dogs search individually.

Donna Toews CPDT-KA CNWI is a certified K9 Nose Work® instructor since March 2012 with the National Association of Canine Scent Work LLB. She has been active in the sport since December 2009 and her team is the first team outside the USA to earn the ELT-CH title. She is a CKC and UKC judge.
